This map shows areas in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts with habitat suitable for oysters, mussels, scallops, and clams.

Data Considerations

Shellfish habitat data were derived from from Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts state and academic GIS resources. The data depict both current and historical shellfish habitat areas.

Status

We are working with state agencies to include data for Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York.
